Last year on about 09/10 I recieved a free cell phone in the mail from Sprint. This phone was not requested by me nor do I have any idea why they sent it. The phone was sent for a cell phone contract that had just expired. I had already purchased a cell phone for said account a few months earlier and paid full price for the phone to avoid extending my contract.
Today while talking to a Sprint rep about numberous problems with my account it came to my attention the contract had been extended for two years with the standard $200.00 early cancelation fee. I informed them I had no idea why they sent the phone and I would be glad to send it back. It has never been opened. They said sorry, too late and there is nothing I can do about it! The phone was never activated or the packaging opened for that matter.
Needless to say, when I went to "complaint" and checked under Sprint low and behold the last entry is for the same thing! I would appreciate any and all input on how I can resolve this problem or get involved in any class action suits.
