I bought my Maytag Dryer Model# MDE4806AYW in Dec. 0f 2005 (significantly less than 4 years back). 2 days before is started creating a screaching, running sound (like metal on-metal). I named the amount suggested on my support agreement and was informed it had been not protected since it was still practical. Since it might still dry my garments, I had been designed to operate it till it-no longer performed, using the chance of a creating a fireplace. I'm completely shocked at this. I'll not be reviving my agreement as it pertains due in December. Exactly what a waste of cash! I believed Maytag was said to be thus reliable... Customer BEWARE! No surprise the Maytag repair guy is not hectic... He never gets sent on support calls since itis not protected.
