Dishonest, stole money, sent to collections

I applied for an account with United Payment Services in January. After finishing the application, I realized that I was going to hold off on starting the small business.
In July I received a phone call from United Payment Services letting me know that I had insufficient funds for my July bill.
This was very surprising to me. I did not use thier services at all, or even finish setting up the account. I never even recieved a account number to be able to authorize credit cards.
They had been directlty taking money out of my account for 4 months. I then find out that just applying for thier services allows them to ennact the account. They had the bank account info for my company because that is part of the application process. Then I found out to cancel service is $500.00. They said I had to fax in a cancellation and they would work with me on the cancellation fee.
However, I soon got a call from a collection agency saying that if I refused to pay $560.00 then they were reporting it on my personal credit report.
Needless to say, I am not happy!
