Ihighly dislike this company. My business has declined over the past year so my need for accepting credit cards has declined. But with United Payment Services as your business declines your rates start to increase. My last monthly bill was for nearly $100 for no transactions whatsoever. Zero. Nothing. No revenue just a $100 fee (really a series of 7 or 8 different fees). Canceling the account has been a nightmare. It has taken me many phone calls, letters, and still the thing is just charging my account like clockwork. If I only had a business plan, and the lawyers, to charge my customers more when they need my service less, I could still afford to accept credit cards from United Payment Services. The good news is that I think all I have to do now is pay them a flat $400 and they might let me out of the monthly charge. Yeah.
