I recently purchased a Black Berry Strom, and while Speaking to the sales Representative I asked about a pramotion I saw on television where it said buy one black berry and get the second one free, with activation. The sales Representative siad "that pramotion has expired." After I purchasing the phone, I had an issue with the storm and had to return it and called Verizon wireless Customer Service, and found out I was lied too, and that the two black berry pramotion for the price of one had not expired. I also found out that the store I went to was not a Verizon direct store and that they pay for the right to use the name Verizon wireless as it is displayed on the front of the buisness.
I then went back to return the phone and end my contact as I am entitled to do within the first thirty days. The store said they would honor my return but, it would be at least 90 days to get my refund check, even though I paid cash for the phone. The customer service was poor, and I would reconmend that anyone lookibg to purchase a Verizon Phone or products, go to a Direct Verizon dealer. I found out that I would have save a lot of time, money and stress if I had researched what I was being told by the staff at that store prior to signing a contract.
