Nationwide Business Credit
Deceptive loan promises

I was first contacted by fax for a business loan and appeared to be pre-approved. I was leery so I contacted the better business bureau to see Nationwide business credits performance. They had multiple complaints but appeared to have been resolved. My first contact after leaving several messages was Darren Voage. I asked him how long would the loan take to process. He assured me he would know within minutes if I would just fill out the paperwork. This was on APRIL 24. Darren asked me to send three months of bank statements which I did within one day. I told Darren the purpose of the loan was to purchase wind turbines for my new business and the factory was in Holland. He assured me their company had financed turbines before.in addition they wanted a letter of credit worthiness for at least forty thousand. My credit score was almost eight hundred and my current business was considered excellent by Dunn & Bradstreet. Darren called me and said everything looked excellent. On April 29 Darren contacted me and said overnight the loan documents as well as a check for $4064.96 so we can expedite the loan. I agreed but insisted the loan has to be completed by May 13 because I was meeting the CEO FROM Holland and did not want to jeopardize my opportunity to form a new partnership. Darren insisted the process would not take more than one week. The check arrived on the first of May as well as all the required documents. Any loan that I have done in past was transpired on the day of my down payment. Darren contacted me by seventh of May and said everything was approved and they would wire the money. I told Darren that this has to transpire before the thirteenth of May or I did not want the loan. Darren told me if I am not happy with the service he would make a full refund. On May 08 after several messages to his answering machine he called and said their company would wire the money on Monday 05-11 2009. Darren would not call me back after this last date and no one ever answers their phone.

My meeting with the CEO was a huge embarrassment and I am trying to salvage a very important business deal. I finally heard from Darren on Friday after numerous messages. He wanted to keep $495.16 for processing a loan I never got.in addition he wanted me to sign a release I would not contact the Better Business Bureau. I told him that was not acceptable and he needed to honor our agreement for a full refund. This whole process has drained me and I have never been so frustrated. My company prides itself on customer service. We were awarded Chamber of Commerce Business of the year in Burleson Texas. I have since received a loan and have wired the money to the Dutch. The wire took about twenty minutes. Darren told me wiring to the Dutch would take a long time. I think the whole thing was a scam designed to take my money. Beware of deals over the fax machine.
