I had 2 rear speakers installed in my car by Best Buy's "Geek Squad." My wife took the car in to get it installed at our appointment time. It took them 4 hours to finally install them. When she rode away, she was excited to finally have new speakers to listen to music.
Upon turning on the CD player, she was surprised to find out that it sounded exactly the same than when she brought the car in. She immediately went back and told the "Geek Squad" that there's something wrong with the speakers or the wiring.
They told her that it isn't their responsibility or problem that the speakers sound like the previous ones (Blown speakers). Since there was nothing she could do to rectify the problem, she left. After I went back to speak with the Geek Squad Manager, he told me the same thing.
I asked him if thats what they do to everyone and he said that it's not their responsibility to alert customers that the speakers don't work properly. I was furious. They didn't even have the audacity to tell us that they were the wrong sized speakers (They were to tall).
After speaking with the manager, I called Customer Service and they said that they "Couldn't do anything to help me out." I will never buy anything at Best Buy EVER AGAIN and I tell everyone I can to not get anything installed by the "Geek Squad."
