I bought a panasonic dvd-RV30, on December 19 from a Best Buy in Roseville, Mi. This was a Christmas present for my parents. The total came to $264.99, with a $50 mail in rebate. I mailed the rebate in December 20. The reciept states that you will recieve your rebate within 8 weeks.
After eight weeks had passed I called the panasonic customer service (if you can call it that) 800 number. They stated that they had not recieved my information. Finally, after being hung up on twice, I spoke to someone and sent them copies of my reciepts.
Another 4 weeks... Nothing.
I waited two months and called again. They have still not recieved my information.
I entered complaints on there web site... Nothing.
I obtained other "customer service" phone numbers... Nothing.
I wrote a letter to corporate explaining all the trouble I have had, and how rude I have been treated.
Finally 14 days later I recieve a form letter thanking me for my interest in their company. No check for $50, anoapology... Nothing.
It is now June 21 and I have still not recieved my rebate or an apology. I have never in my whole life felt more ripped off. This company has the worst customer service department EVER! They would not even give me a name of a supervisor.
