This is a nationwide scam. I have been doing my research and it has happened all across the U. S into Canada. A minivan/truck pulls up and tells you they have been given extra merchandise and they dont want to give it to their boss for some reason or another and makes you believe your getting a hell of a deal. The packaging is all professionally done and they even have professional brochures showing you the product.
You can open it up and they are actual speakers that look of nice quality. On the box it lists an outrageous retail price so they can get as much out of you as possible.
Then the speakers are crap. The scam artists tell you the name of some company such as Sound Division or Inovative sound systems, or something of that nature. This is the # of the company that they gave me which is actually a message service under the companies name: 1-800-949-9890.
The speakers are under the name Digital Pro Audio or Digital Audio 2000. Speakermania.com's message board has over 100 people over all across the US talking about the scam happening to them ALL EXACTLY THE SAME!!! If you could let me know any progress you guys make. Thank you. Scott.
