To all that are reviewing Cricket phones.in late Sep08 I bought 1 of the many special offer phones from cricket in the range of 200.00. And the 50.00 dollar plan witch included in this plan is roaming. All sounds great so far but for some weird reason roam just didn't want to work so I took the phone back and the charged me a fee to return the phone 40.00 "this phone was less then 2 weeks old thats right 2 weeks"the phone the gave me was comparable. How ever during this changing of the phones, the way that I payed was by credit card set up on there website from the beginning. Some how was kicked off line forgivable right. Not so bad sure we all have been through it. I explained this to the representative at Cricket so the re-inversed my money in the amount of 15.00 dollars because late fee charges on a pay by monthly account doesn't make since but there real. Here we go again with Cricket this month Jan08 the loss of more money trying to charge me for another late fee for the same thing that happened in Dec08. I called Cricket for 2 reasons this time 1 loss of a game that happened twice 1st time was on the original phone witch, I bought 4 games and when the transfered my information to the new phone it was lost including all other games at 4.99 a piece witch I was re-inversed 12.00 I just didn't want to argue with them over a few bucks so I never called "should have". 2nd reason for calling them was to question them on there 63.00 bill the sent me when I only have a 50.00 plan normally after taxes 57-58. Not only on hold with them for 22 min to talk to some one "I actually look at the phone just before some one answered" but after explaining my problem with my game the re-inversed my money for it 4.99 but the representative told me I had to call back to have any more re-inversed. So I tried to explain to the rep that here i have had an enormous amount of trouble from Cricket over a 4 month period with the loss of calls the loss of games the loss of money, nope I had to call back for a 5 dollar reimbursement. What a pain in the A— this has been. Cricket customer now EX-CRICKET CUS. The loss of a grand total of 350.00 Plus time, brings me to the conclusion this is a nickel, dime scam. Good luck to all with this company as I hope others have better luck.
