Shipped me poorly packaged & broken item

I am very very upset. I was stupid enought to order a Revo Styler from Asontv.com, I ordered it on October 14. It cost $49.58. I kepts emailing asontv.com for status since 2 weeks went by and no package yet. They said they would mail it that week, after that week passed, I emailed again, they responded that they would send it the following week, well finally it arrived on friday November 20. Yes, more than a month after the order was placed (and billed to my credit card).

The worst thing about it, the packaging and the poor shape of the item. The package was a shoebox size, the blow dryer was crammed in there all loose. I mean loose, no box, nothing to hold it steady while it shipped. Without even opening the package I already knew it would all be broken. You can hear all the pieces in the package flying everywhere as you moved the package without even opening, sounded like balls stuck inside a closed shoebox, along with all kinds of loose screws. I mean it was so ridiculous that someone would even think to package such a fragile and expensive item this way. I was so upset. And of course once I opened the package, I saw that I was right, the blow dryer was broken, the piece that sticks inside the little socket that goes into the plug was broken in half, the body of the blow dryer itself is all scratched up from banging inside that box, the little screws that hold the pieces to the brush part all came apart and were all over the box, you cannot even repair it.

It is so broken that you cant even get it back together no matter how much you try. So I called your customer care today (3 times) and no one is there to answer my call, tells me to leave a voice mail. I have called twice a day since Friday November 21st, and no one answers my call. I sent an email on Nov. 21st to let them know I want a refund. No one has responded.

I have a feeling this is their thing, to ship damaged things and then no refund, they have a refund process that clearly states, no personal items such as blow dryers can be refunded, so there goes, I didnt even get a chance to try it, or to even plug it in for that matter since plug is broken. Trust me, neither myself nor my friends & family will ever order from them again, and now I want to let anyone I can know so that they will not get ripped off, like I was. Dumb of me to even have ordered from then.
