1st - I did not even completed signing up on the website as an Independent Business Rep (IBR) and my credit card was already charged - there is no going backwards on the online IBR sign up application - when I tried to go back and to cancel, the screen went blank - there was no option.
I was going out of the country in a few hours so I thought that the terminated application would not be going through - I was mistaken.
I found out that my application went through when our friend told us that I was signed up under her. Since I was already out of country - I could not immediately do anything about this situation.
2nd - I was interested in being an IBR due to the inclusion of the Philipines as a country that would receive unlimited incoming calls from the USA for the price of the cell phone plus a maintenance fee of $5.95
Without notice the Philippines was taken out of the list of included countries where unlimited calls from the USA plus the monthly maintenance fee was increased to $8.95
Note: Other countries were also deleted from the included listing.
These actions makes it impossible to be an IBR from the initial understanding with the company. I was interested to sign a an IBR because the Philippines was in the list for unlimited incoming calls from the USA.
I think that EOT Direct misleads / is misleading would be IBRs / IBRs and customers when they delete countries from the initial list - after they get their money.
I requested the company to reverse the charges on my credit card - I will wait if they will do this or not.
