I use to work for Kiwi PCS for about a year and some change, and I would always see customers coming inside the store complaining about their phones. They would always ask if they were refurbished all the time, but Corporate would always tell everyone that worked there that they were brand new. But after a while there were customers who would actually call the manufacturers of the cell phone companies (like Motorola for example), and would give them the manufacturing code off the back of the phone and the actual company would tell them that they dropped that phone b/c they were actually have real problems with that phon. Or they would let the customers know that the phone came up in their system as refurbished, and not new.
I really feel like someone should actually take a look into this company b/c if it is true than people actually are purchasing bad cell phones, and are wasting there money and time. Also, the service really stinks, the customer service people sometimes are polite but not all the time, and plus no one speaks very clear English. There are many other issues with this company, like they were carrying a model made by Motorola (V276), and it had a lot of issues, and there were other models that were having the same issues.
The Motorola V276 had stopped being sold by Motorola b/c it to had some serious issues like one for instance the phone would overheat while talking on it for just 20 minutes, and so would the Motorola V710. The was also a problem with the Nokia camera phones that they sold where the phone would just blink on and off after the customer had the phone for only a few days. I mean there are so many problems that they have with this company, and the customers are truly being ignored when they come inside the store to be helped with their problems.
The only thing the store representatives and the store manager tells them is, "We can call Corporate, give you a box, and have you send your phone off to the Manufacturing Company to be repaired." Even with that whose to say how long it will take for you to receive the phone back. They also have reports on the Better Business where they rate them as being UNSATISFACTORY.
