I ordered a Olympus Camera before Christmas for my son as a present. I unfortunatelly called this company and placed the order and paid with my credit card. The next day I called back and inquired about the camera in KIT form. This means the camera comes with a case, tele-lens, battery, remote, and a few other extras for $30 a great deal. The not so professional from AAA informed sure we can give you the KIT form!!!
On approximately Dec 22 a package arrived from AAA. Upon opening the package I found the wrong camera and the "KIT" was a cheap bulb brush, a roll of film
and a few other really cheap acc. Attached to cardboard.
I immediately called the AAA comp. And informed the person of the situation. His intelligent responce was to call back on Tuesday 12-26-00, DUHHHHHHHHHHH.
I again informed him it was a present for Christmas, he responded " its not my problem". AAA was closed on Sat due to the owners religious beliefs.
I had to order another camera from a reputable store and my son received his present days later, great Christmas.
When I finally was able to talk to Chris, Greg, etc., etc. They tried to charge me RESTOCKING fee, this didn't work. I finally convinced them it was their fault and they agreed to credit my account and I would pay to ship the wrong camera back.
Well, its March 26 and the camera was returned by USPS Insured Mail on Jan 25 and I still haven't received my money back!!!
I have constantly called AAA only to be put on hold for 40 min. Ignored, lied too, yelled at, hung up on, dis-connected and just driven crazy!
I finally called today and spoke to anothergeneric named sales person who wanted to talk to his supervisor to get authorization to send me back MY MONEY!!!
I infomed him no way, If I didn't get a check in 48 hrs in full I am going to court in New Jersey and going to sue for everything: my time, my phone time, my cell time, interest on my money for 2 months comparable to my credit card company.
Time is up.
