I was on my way to work and this guy opened his window and asked me if I wanted a home entertainment system. I told him to meet me at my work and he and his buddy did. I was thinking that he was just going to give me the system but he told me he'd sell it to me for a "discount" price compared to the MSRP of $3,999. He wanted $600 but I told him no and he asked what I had. He ended up showing me the "invoice" and said that he had 3 entertainment systems and that if he went back to work with that extra one then his boss would be pissed. He then showed me a magazine with the system in it and even went "the extra mile" to open up the box and show me the system and warranty, etc. I ended up giving in because I thought "hey I can make some serious money off of this" considering I paid $280 for the whole thing and that its worth almost $4,000. I was pondering this entertainment system scam the whole time at work and finally got home to find out that it truely was a scam. The guy even gave me his cell phone # and when I called it he was a real a*hole. His name is "Ron" supposidly and his cell # is 267-980-3620 so don't get scammed by this F'ing a*hole. I now have pretty much no money and I have to wait another week for my shitty paycheck and I have to pay my parents back for paying for my fines and lawyer. I really could have used that money but NO I just had to buy that system, I couldn't have just walked away and now I'm stuck with this HUGE box and no where to put it. I was scammed and now I know how it feels and what its like. Watch out for these guys, it seems like it's the same 2 dudes going from state to state and changing vehicles. I would love to call the cops but I'm not quite sure if I should now finding out that this system is most likely stolen. I don't know why that dumba* would give me his cell # but he did so hopefully I can do something about this.
