My husband and I were approached by two guys in a white pickup with Texas plates but said they were from Arizona. They had home stereo systems and wanted to get rid of them because they needed to get back to work and fly home on a plane. They said the systems were worth $5000 and showed us a website and literature on Genesis. They had business cards and showed us a driver's license. We figured something was up because his driver's license doesn't expire - obviously a fake one. Well, we paid the $600 for probably a $200 system. It sounds sounds good but who knows how long it will last. It works with an IPOD. We felt something was up but fell for it anyway.
Make sure if you ever see someone like this, get their license plate number and call on your cell for the cops. I almost did that but was stupid and bought a system. Be careful. They have now hit Wyoming. They said they are headed for Utah but who knows. The whole website and company seems to be a scam. They have a pretty elaborate system with cards and magazines with the products, price, and the website in it. Of course, you can't check in all out in the parking lot. They target nicer cars (we were in a Hummer) and they basically asked for directions and one thing lead to another.
I wish we would have known about this site about 12 hours ago.
