Ordered a "new" GPS unit from Foto-Tronix online. After extremely long shipping time, I received a used, slightly damaged GPS unit that was not the model I had ordered. The phone number and address on the web site were not legitimate. Contacted GPS unit manufacturer regarding the origins of this device—there report listed it as stolen three months prior. Notified FBI and local law enforcement at manufacturer's urging (criminal action is currently in progress). Credit card copmpany tracked down a cell phone number for this company from a previous complaint. After several attempts, credit card representative "trapped" an individual, Jonathon, on his cell phone who said they were a "worldwide company" but could not give us any addresses for returning or exchanging the item. Criminal action is onging.
Note that this company has used several other names in the market over the last few years. It was suggested that they take advantage of consumers under one name until they get too much heat, then switch to a new business name.
