Sat on order and refused to ship

Ordered Garmin GPS on July 27th and am leaving for WA state on the 11th of August. Took standard shipping because most companies mail within 48hrs of receiving orders.

They sent me tracking information on the package but it just sat there Monday, Tuesday and today. "It will get there within 7-10 business days." But if you ship it now it might get here sooner. "You paid for standard shipping and it will arrive in 7-10 BUSINESS days".

I couldn 't take the chance that they were going to sit on it so I thought 3 day was $20 so I told them to do that. They charged me $20 MORE!!! When I said then I better get it on Saturday I was told that delivery on Saturday was "MUCH MUCH MORE - here is the number for UPS call and check it out before anything else is said".
UH, a little impossible to do since they don't give you a return address or zip code. I am fairly certain that 3 day "Business day" shipping isn't $34.95! I am furious that they STILL haven't put it in the mail. IF it went out today it may have showed up on Saturday, I have gotten UPS deliveries on Saturdays before, but NO, they sat on it and it still hasn't gone out!

What a bunch of jerks, AND none of my emails have ever been signed. I am a single mom, moving cross country on my savings with my kids and pets and I needed this for the trip. I told them this and they didn't care. I just think it is a crummy way to do business.

Go to NewEgg, they ship as soon as they process your order and don't play games and charge you more money to get it there as fast as they can. I guess taking pride in the fact that you got it before expected is something to be ashamed of if you work for Foto-Tronix.

RUN, it isn't worth the few dollars you will save to be treated like crap by some smirmy little creep with no life!

They refuse to cancel orders so that is why they think they can treat you that way. They give you 7 days to complain if there is a problem, I can only imagine how their customer service is with that... They will find some way to say you are in a different time zone and it expired 2hrs before you contacted them... Or something equally stupid, I can only imagine.

I will NEVER do business with them again and I suggest you don't either!!!
