I ordered A Nikon D60 Camera kit On June 18 from Stingray electroncs AKA Shop digital corp AKA B&Y distributors on Ebay for $910.00 I mailed a personal check on the 19th. I read their feedback and they had alot of good feedback. The negative feedback was not too bad and the deal was another great deal on Ebay!
Everything went fine until I got the normal payment reminder email, I emailed and said payment had been sent. Then they where no longer registered on Ebay.
I finally got in touch with them which is extremely hard to do, they hang up on me, put me on hold, tell me to call back in an hour cause the person I need to talk to will not be in until then, tell me to call back on monday. I call Monday and they tell me to call back Friday and then they tell me to call back in 2 weeks because the camera body is missing and they ordered it.
I called back in 2 weeks and and boy did they give me a hard time with the phone could not get the right time of day out of them, but I got through and Anthony Castellano said he would refund my $910.00. That he would start the process and I should have my $910.00 by July 15.
It is now Sept. 12 and they tell me they do not have time to send my money back because they are moving.
I have reported them to the BBB of Florida, The department consumer services of Florida and I also called The Dania Florida Cheif of police to alert them to the illegal activty and they are in the same town and I got oh never heard of them can't help you here is a phone number to call 1-800-251-3221 they deal with internet fraud?
I filed a dispute on Ebay and boy Ebay is hard to get in touch with. I finally did live chat and they told me they would not do anything and I should close the dispute. I really trusted Ebay. I have bought and sold on Ebay since 2003 and I found that it was the most honest place on the net. Until these businesses started opening Ebay stores.
I will never give up trying to get my money back from digital corp. I will never give up trying to expose all the businesses in this great country of ours that have to stoop to the level of stealing from people to get rich to live the American dream.
No matter where you turn for help, no one seems to care (It's your fault live with it) You sent A personal check thats your problem. You sent a personal check you will never get that back.
