The volume was subtle, it went low (er) when I first got it but it was not overly noticeable till about 8 months after I had the unit. Within the past year it now goes almost to no volume and cannot be repaired. This was a refurbished Magnavox 15" LCD tv. I always thought that 'refurbished' meant they were fixed and resold. This is bull. When I called them to request another tv they said I was past the 3 month warranty and that they would sell me another refurbished at $175.00...$25.00 more than the original, plus mail the original back. What do they think people are, idiots? Not only is this a lousy deal I would never EVER buy another refurbished anything from Philips or Magnavox, both being the same company. This is a lousy company, I warn everyone not to buy used from them at all.
