The phone has a base station and two extensions. While under warranty, the base station readout area went blank which makes it impossible to program, etc. GE was nice enough to say they would take it back and fix it and it would take 6-8 weeks. Since it was the base station that means i have no phone service for 6-8 weeks. After speaking with a Supervisor and getting nowhere, I offered to PAY FOR a new phone, send them mine and then they could refund the charge. Not procedure they said. To heck with procedure, use common sense. I can't do without the phone for a day much less 6-8 weeks. Ugh!
