Hello everyone,
About 3 hours ago I bought a set of 2 tower speakers and a box of 3 smaller speakers for $300.00. As soon as I got back, I looked up whatever I could find on the speakers via the internet. As you all know I was sick!!! I still can't believe I didnt listen to my gut feeling. I was told the same story about extra speakers and the whole boss thing. He even added that his boss was a prick and always hit on his girlfriend, as a result he did not want to bring the speakers back to him. I should have known when I asked him if I could call a friend about the speakers, he started to look fustrated and began to leave. But when I could'nt reach my friend he began his whole song and dance again. The rest is history, unfortunatly.
I have a reply to all those who say "we" the buyers are greedy and stupid. First of all we are not stupid, we are innocent minded and have not been corrupted with devious thoughts, so when some poor guy comes and needs to make some money on some speakers he claims to high end we want to believe him.
Secondly there story is well thought out and rehersed. Now as far as the greed is concerned, who does'nt want a good deal when times are tough and x-mas season is here. I don't think people want to pay full price (inflated) for anything. Why should we? Why do the sellers want to get aas much as possible for shit? Its the same story no matter what.
It's amazing these guys are trying to pull this shit in Hawaii. No, I take that back, they are stupid. Hawaii is so small that I know I will run into these guys again. And I really do feel sorry for what will happen to them when one of the buyers (suckers) sees them on the road or in a parking lot. There will be justice done, one way or another.
The last thing to set the picture straight is that it is hard to justify to the police what wrong doing has been done here. This is the answer, in one sense you have not been ripped off due to the fact you have recieved goods for your money. You have been ripped off if the claims on the box of the product are not possible, such as 30 - 300 watts. Ha ha ha ya right, I would not suggest over 50 watts due to fire hazards.
Last the guys who were selling these crap speakers were in a white chevy tahoe. One white male and a filapino male (younger). I hope somehow we can catch, bust, inprision, beat, whatever these hustlers. Its a sad day when they pull this shit 2 days before x-mas. Good luck people.
