In-May, I bought the Roadmate 300 global positioning system (it had been not marketed like a restored product etc.) to get a road-trip we were getting to Florida. While it came in July, it had been described "not for resale", had no advantages or product information on the container (but a place of the presentation have been easily cut away) and came having a "demo" card rather than the proper datacard. It got us 3 hours about the telephone using the excellent people at Magellan to obtain the machine to function. Sadly, whenever we came in Florida, the machine didn't function. It required half an hour to approach something, so when it did ultimately develop instructions, it delivered us the wrong manner.
The moment I came property, I sent ecost. They replied that I had a need to require a return quantity. I named, and was informed that the return expert might evaluate my situation and mail me when the return have been authorized. I had been fundamentally advised the return could be approved, but just for an exchange. While I named to ask about the trade, I was informed that I Would need to buy a alternative and following the alternative have been delivered, they'd return the initial cost (What?!?). I contended this was not a suitable quality and was informed that I'd be sent a return quantity. Five nights later, I named to ask regarding just how long it'd try get the e-mail and was informed they were awaiting me to buy a brand new product so that they might return the initial. I mentioned that, according to our prior dialogue, I had been anticipating a reimbursement quantity since an exchange was undesirable. Then Jason, the CSR, stated that I'd been informed that it'd consider 72-?? Hours for that return division to (again) evaluate the problem and mail me back. Therefore I wait.
I Would recommend to not buy from ecost, as you never understand what you are likely to get. I have requested from their store previously, and occasionally the merchandise is great, occasionally it isn't and, for me, their customer support is terrible.
