Magicjack is advertising a unit they claim will let you make phone calls any where in the us for free via the internet and thier product on tv. They stated fror $39.95 plus shipping you will get the magicjack plus 1 year subscription fee. You can use the magicjack for 30 days and not be charged. If for any reason you are not happy with the magicjack you can send it back and they will pay the shipping. The magicjack was shipped from florida may 8 when i recieved the unit which was about may 11 iinstalled it as per instructions. Unit did not work, the only way to contact them is through the internet. I requested a return # so i could send the unit back. They asked for an order # i said i dont have one because i was not given one. I was given a bogus #, when i tried to use it to get a return # i got a message on the screen stating there was no # on file in the 30 day trial period. The next day i checked my acct and the amout of $90.75 was taken from my acct. I got back on line and contacted them. Each person i chatted with kept telling me there was no record of my acct because the 30 day trial had passed and the files had been deleted.
