I purchased this product over the inter-net because of the sophisticated language used to sell the product and how good it was supposed to be. Consequently, my HP Pavilion desk top model purchased from Best Buy in November was infected with a virus after using the so called fixer. Not only did this virus do irrevocable damage to my other security software already installed before purchasing the registry cleaner, it also damaged my hard-drive beyond repair! We had to rush out and purchase another computer ASAP, total loss, $1,500. We donated HP to Best Buy's help the needy program, minus our original hard-drive. Therefore, how can they advertise, their product cleans viruses, or even detects them? We wonder if the virus came with the software? Nor will we ever purchase another type of cleaner without first calling Microsoft.
