When I signed up they told me I would get a $200 rebate on hd reciever just fill out this paper and wait 2 mounths 6 mounths later still no rebate.
So I call and get this story that the form that thereinstaller was the wrong one and that it is now to late to send in the new one. They told me that all they could do is offer me 2 free mounts free cinamax OK that is the only thing you can do? OH YES $20 worth of programming for 200 didn't add up so I called back now they can offer me A one mounth bill $89 and 20 amount off my bill for six mounths Great I say that is fair then comes my next bill only $10 dollars off.
I call back several times that is all they will do as my contract is almost up six mnths or so they would have payed me off at the time of end OK
Nine mounths in the DVR starts digitizing I call they tell me no problem its under a one year waranty and will send one righy out just send back the old one PP two days later it arives a older mudel that does not read all five LNBs but I dont use The two spanish satiliets no big deal just older looking no digitiesing and I am already fed up so three mounths to go.
I called to Cancel and they first tell me that I upgraded to DVR and that extended automaticly for two years BS Ive had aDVR from the start OH NO sir
you upgraded NO. I call Back your system was only under a 90 day warranty and when I drade down mind you that I automaticly owe them $260
for an early disconnect and that they cant do any thing for me till I reactivate my account MORE BS
Then a mounth or so later they send me a letter wanting there DVR Back Sure Win you send me mine back OH we cant do that???
But we want ours OK pay me for mine and you can have it OH you you own your equipment never mind just pay the erly diconnect fees BS BS and more BS nothing for six seven mths then the calls start collection from directtv BS
This time I wrote them a letter they replied that because I canceled that they didnt owe me for the rebait and that I still owe them the END
