Wow, where do I start with this company??? Long story short... After shopping online for a replacement bulb for my LCD TV, I found an offbrand bulb with this company for $118. Prior forums advised not to buy these cheap bulbs as they do not last as well as the name brand types. I gambled and went with the cheaper bulb that included a 90 warranty. Upon the 80th day, (the day before the Superbowl) the bulb blew out! I called laptopsforless and they wanted me to send the old bulb back before they could sent another one. I did not want a new bulb, I wanted my money back. This is where the story goes bad...
After following all the strict return procedures, I finally had a confirmation of receipt number for the returned merchandise. I was told that my credit card would be credited. After 6 weeks and numerous calls later, my credit card has still not been credited. Do I need to mention that each call lasts about 30 mins including hold time? So now the latest as of today, is that they cut me a check one week ago. As expected, I have not received the check and another person said my credit card has been credited again. WRONG! Still no credit on my card.
So I guess my only option as a consumer is to file a claim with the better business bureau and start an investigation with my credit card company.
PLEASE, PLEASE, follow my advice and do not buy from laptopsforless!!!
