March i purchased a cellphone for t-mobile through this company. I purrchased a blackberry. They gave me the option to either pay the insurance money by month or all upfront. I chose to pay it right then and there. The lady took out a form and "explained what it covered". I agreed, she told me to sign the bottom and took the money in cash.
On september of my phone broke as a result of a fall, which the insurance i purchased covered. I went to the store and i was informed that on the computer showed i had declined the insurance dat i had purchased. I gave them the paper that she gave me and the person said that it was the wrong document.
I went back a couple of times for the next few months and tried to make them see that i had proof that she had ripped me off. I was pregnant, and about to give birth, living at a house with no phone and no car. Even though the document was to waive the right (wich again i didnt know what was supposed to be the real papers), right below my signature was her signature with her handwriting at the bottom that said "purchased 1yr DBC" wich is the insurance.
I talked to the manager, 4 months after ive been trying to get him to confront me, and he looked at the paper and said "this is not the paper. I cant help you". The way he talked to me was rude and made it seem like he thought i was lying and plain stupid. I also asked for them to contact the lady, and i was informed she was gone the next month or two after she sold me the phone. The manager said he will not contact her. That i needed to get my lawyer to do that.
I still got the papers with her handwriting saying that i indeed made the purchase of the DBC. So whats gonna happen? Did i just lose $80?
