I purchased a car that was totalled. When I purchased the car from Cal Worthington, I in good faith purchased GAP insurance. Their gap insurance department, did everything they could to take money off my claim. I had to call every day for two months, only to find that they had the "reduced" gap insurance check for over a month sitting there and their insurance department just didnt want to pay, since Cal Worthington has so many lawsuits against them.
My insurance paid 1/2 and with the Gap insurance I purchased at Cal Worthington, I shouldnt have owed anything, however thanks to their lying dishonest managers, they reduced my Gap insurance down to where I still had a balance with my finance company. What a rip off, if you purchase gap insurance isnt it supposed to replace everything except what your own insurance pays on the balance owed to the finance company? I will never do business with Cal Worthington again, if I didnt have savings I would have been screwed!
DONT GO SEE CAL WHATEVER YOU DO!!! He also sold us a car that was a piece of CRAP!
