Not ready to Honor Weekly Circular Printed Ad, Manager thinks fine prints are not part of Ad SUNNYVALE, CA-94087-3227,408-720-1043SUNNYVALE, CA-, 408-720-1043SUNNYVALE, CA-, 408-SUNNYVALE, CA

I have complaint about the behavior and not honoring advertised sales of store Manager of Circuit City on 111 E EL CAMINO REAL SUNNYVALE, CA-94087-3227,408-720-1043

I saw a deal on line in the Weekly Ad (release Nov 25 weekend) about the Vonage Phone and 1 year Service Agreement with a $150 instant gift card offer.

Link of the offer on CircuitCity web site

I initially walked in around 10.40 AM spoke to a representative (I guess was in Firedog section). I showed him the Ad and told him that I am interested in the offer. Because it was getting late and I had to pickup my Daughter from School (She had to be picked up by 11.30 AM), I told him that I will come back in 1 hour after picking my daughter and left the place.

I came back around 12.25 PM (Nov 26) and spoke to first rep I had spoken to. As he was busy he asked me to wait. After a long wait another rep (I think his name was Daniel) started helping me while my 4 year old waited (im) patiently. I told him about the offer of $150 in Gift card when sign up for the Vonage, and I showed him the Weekly Circuitcity flier. He looked in his system and told me that he cannot see it in his system but will check and come back.

After a while he came back and started processing the order. He sold me the Vonage Phone then made me fill some forms for Vonage signup and processed my order. After completion he told me as the $150 offer was not in his system he cannot offer me that. I asked him if I could see the Manager. Then he (Rep) said that even Manager wouldn't be able to help if it wasn't in the system. I insisted on seeing the manager, I had waited more than an hour for this with my 4 year old daughter impatiently waiting for it. The manager came and I showed him the Weekly printed Ad and he started looking at his system, I patiently waited for him and then after some time (few minutes) I asked him about the $150 gift card.
Then Manager told me the following things:
1. The $150 Gift Card is not in his system
2. The $150 Gift Card is not mentioned in the main advertisement (It was part of the fine print) of the flyer.
3. He does not consider the Parts of fine print as part of Advertisement.
4. So as per him the Ad is invalid and he cannot give me the $150 Gift Card

This is not what I was expecting from the Manager to blatantly say that the fine prints are not part of advertisement and say the Ad is invalid and not honor it.
Meanwhile my 4 year old daughter was Hungry/Cranky and Sleepy.
I said in that case I will have to take the matter to court of law. As soon as I said that, the manager asked me to Leave the store immediately and I was escorted out by the Manager. As I had already paid for the Vonage Phone I picked it up and left the place with my daughter without the $150 gift card.

1. I am not sure if this is part of Circuit City policy to kick/escort out of the store if he disagrees to the Manager's interpretation and suggests to take the matter to court of Law?
2. Does the Circuit City consider fine prints as not part of Advertisements and doesnot feel obligated to honor them?
