The People's Email Network has launched a campaign to allow college students to use text messaging to convey their rejection of vice president Cheney's ill-conceived plan to attack Iran by conveying their desire to impeach the vice president on charges brought formally to the floor by Dennis Kucinich (mainstream media ignores as non-news).
College students will be the first to be drafted if this "pre-emptive" war goes ahead as scheduled. So by failing to allow Cricket Cell phone users the ability to send their text messages to the number 30644 with the text message "impeach", they are breaking the law and standing in the way of the Constitution of the U.S. And trampling on the rights for free speech. Several other mega-media owners have already been discovered to be participating in similar practices of pre-screening who their subscribers can gain access to via the internet.
Free speech and the Constitution is under attack by these companies and they can "couch" their language any way they want to make it all seem so innocent and legal.
I'd like to know what's going to be done to restore our media and put control back in the hands of the people. Cricket is now part of that problem, not part of a solution. Is this China or N. Korea? Or Iraq? I keep getting confused.
