I should have looked at your site first - it would have saved me money and aggravation. I bought a Satellite system at Best Buy - all went fine - it was installed - no problem there either - the same day was garbage pick up and the box went into the garbage including the UPC bar code.
I called immediately customer service and they told me to send all the receipts and required information with a letter to the rebate center and they would issue the rebate. I did this and received three days ago the letters back that Best Buy would not honor the rebate without the UPC code.
Surely I am not the only tone that has happened to but in talking and writing to Best Buy rebate center I learned that they do not care about clients. There is no other rule or regulation in place in case the UPC code gets lost.
I was treated by the staff at Best Buy like garbage.
Best Buy stole from me and they have lost more then one customer - when will these companies ever learn how much it cost to gain a customer.in our times when companies struggle they push customers away for pennies! Shame on you Best Buy.
