HhGregg and their rebate program warnings. Purchased two beds from hhGregg with a rebate of $69.99 for delivery. Purchased on 8/9 and sent the delivery rebate afterwards to a rebate center in Texas. According to the paperwork, rebate should be available in 8-10 weeks. After 9 weeks 10/14 contacted rebate center and learned that rebate was denied due to purchase did not meet minimum of $597. My purchase was actually $1100, and hhGregg did contact the rebate center and resolved the problem. On 10/26 contacted the rebate center and learned that the rebate is in process and will be shipped on 11/25. As indicated to the rebate center and hhGregg corporate, this isnt rocket science, if it was their original mistake, why am I getting a rebate in 6 weeks after original complaint, and 15 weeks after original submission. Why is hhGregg condoning this action, is business that good, it evidently isnt their problem only the rebate center is responsible, duh. Service both locally and corporate is incompetent, uncaring, and totally oblivious to the nature of customer service.
