1. Sprint changed their plan "Fair and Flexible" from extra 100 minutes for $5, to 30 minutes for $5 with no notice of the billing changes. This made my bill skyrocket, unknowlingly.
2. After 2 years of service, they offered me an "upgrade" to my phone free of charge, (no notice of my contract being extended) which they gave me via mail. I received this phone, it quit working completely after 3 weeks. I notified Sprint, and they gave me a free replacement - "Jason's" exact words were "How about I send you an A900 from Samsung, because you have been a great customer, and have never called to complain on anything" I said ok, that's fine, I just need something that will work! He insisted on this version, so I accepted. I received the phone a few days later. All was ok - until the next bill. (See #1)
I switched carriers to T-Mobile on July 2,
for much better rates tailored to what I needed. I called Sprint on July 29 because I received a bill for $395.11 They told me that my contract was "renewed" in March due to them sending me a new phone. They also stated to me that they sent a contract renewal notice in the mail, which I never received. I was never told about the contract being extended at that time, nor did I ever sign an agreement. They are now stating that Sprint will not remove the $200 termination fee. I have been a customer with Sprint for 4 years. I cannot believe they are doing business like this. If I knew they would have extended my contract, I would have been done with this company at that time. I will continue pursuing this complaint, as this is not fair to consumers.
