I purchased a new phone from Sprint after my old one had problems keeping a charge. I did not have insurance so I bit the bullet and participated in the Sprint Phone Upgrade program. I got 75 dollars off because I was a Sprint customer for a year. I went to the Sprint store and got the new phone. I paid about 120 dollars for the phone and a car charger for it. The service rep said nothing about a contract extension. I figured I was on my way and free to go.
I got curious the next day and checked my bill online. Sure enough, 6 months were added to my contract. Can they do this??? I called and complained and got sacked with an early term fee. Great customer service at Sprint. Ha. Go elsewhere.
