My experience with Livesay Int'l is no different than any other account chronicled here. I read positive comments about them on eBay and craigslist, went to their website, and purchased a Wii on March 26. I realize now that those postings were most likely planted by the individuals involved in this fraud.
When the charges hit my credit card, within hours of the initial transaction, I sent an email to inquire about this. (It was very unusual for charges to be applied without proof that merchandise had been shipped.) Soon a person from Livesay Int'l called me and informed me that they had suffered several fraudulent purchases and were applying the charges to ensure that the credit card was legit. I was gullible enough to accept that statement. This was the one, and only, response I received from them over the past 60 days.
I never received shipping information, and my account on their website showed that I had made no purchases. All of my subsequent emails and phone calls were never answered, I received no merchandise, my requests for a credit to my Visa card were not acknowledged, and it's very clear that all of the allegations I have since read about their fraudulent dealings are true. A Google search will lead you to a wealth of information about them.
I have filed complaints with the BBB, the FBI, and am preparing one for the FTC. I urge you to do the same. These people belong behind bars.
