In the latter part of Feb./02, I purchased a brand new HP computer, monitor, and printer from the Circuit City store in Shreveport La.
The salesman was really nice and was turely concerned that I got the best deal possible. This was my first major purchase. I think because I was a female, he took advantage of me and talked me in to purchasing a computer system for $1200.00.
In addition to paying such a high cost for the computer, he talked me into buting the extended service agreement. Which brought me total to $1450.00.
The service agreement was canceled the next month (early March)
the computer went on the bink in the latter part of March and it was passed the the 14day return policy.
I think that this computer was defected when purchased and they were well aware of this. I've contacted the store and the 1-800 number to try to make some arrangements.
They would not here of it. They told me this was my computer and I should contact HP to fix the problem. The problem is with the hard drive and the fan, that can only come from dropping the system.
I know I didn't drop $1200.00, but someone did! @!!!
If they would have only entertained the thought that it could have been theur fault.
*The 14-day return policy on electronics is insane*
