We first purchased our plan when Cingular was offering a military discount. When we filled out the paper work my wife completed the forms, thus the bill for the account was first in her name.

This created many problems when I tried to collect on the military discount. I asked for my service to be cancelled. Cingular at this time offered a compromise of switching the account for free to my name, allowing me to obtain the military discount. I was informed that my 30 day's of my trial period would start over, I found out within two weeks that this was not true when I attempted to terminate my contract due to my phones not working. I have made several attempts to contact the company to rectify this situation; however, they absolutely refuse to budge on any compromise.

My phone service has been interrupted several times, when we contact the company they gave excuses that they are still a new company that need's to work out the kinks in the system. The last few months we have complained about lost calls no service not being able to answer the phones when an incoming call is received, they informed us that they had a batch of bad sim cards.

They attempted to send sim cards out that would help us with our problems. They never came so we contacted the company back again and they stated that they did not have our address. They have successfully delivered the bill to our address, not missing a single month when it came time for the company to be paid. However I gave them our address that they had on file again. When we finally received the new sim card. There was only one card. I attempted to call the customer care representative, and was told that we need to buy the second sim.

I feel that this company has manipulated us under a contract and we pay the bill every month and are never late. But, our service is poor and not worth the amount we pay a month. I have also made three Better Business Bureau reports with negative contacts from the company.

We contact the company almost on a regular basis. The following problems we have with our phones: no service, lost calls, we will show full service but not be able to make a call, when an incoming call is answered the call is lost, if the call is not lost the caller is unable to hear the received party. I would like respectfully ask my service be immediately terminated. I would have no problem returning both phones to the company, and the termination fee be waived.

We finally were contacted back on the three Better Business Bureau reports we filed against the company. They will not budge on letting us go on there contract. I pay close to $110.00 a month for phone service that does not efficiently work. I even offered to the company to pay for the full termination fee on one line if they would waive the second line, they refused this offer.

My wife and I really depend on a good cell phone company, due to the fact that I am in the service we just use our cell's as our home phone number. So, it brings sever problems when we have a bad company. My last provider I carried for seven years with out any trouble at all. I truly regret leaving them. Cingular will not work with you to resolve any problems. My father also bought into Cingular because I did and you get free cell to cell in the same network. He too is not at all happy with the service. Buyers please beware.
