I purchased a rca satellite and reciever on 12-13-99.
It was defective. The rca tech rep told me to return it to h.H.
Greg, which i did. I was given a new reciever on 12-19-99. It
seemed to work fine for 3 months. I moved into a new home and
tried to install the satellite system. It had the same defects as the original reciever.
A csr from thompson told me "tough crunchies", i would have to purchase another reciever. The warranty in the manual states " 91 days to 1 year; unit exchange.
Apparantly they feel that warranties written in black and white do not need to be honored!!!
Do not make the same mistake i made. Purchase another brand of
system that actually has principles and ethics.
