We signed up for and received a DVR satellite receiver that quit working after one week. Called right away and got a Return Authorization number and mailing label just fine.
Returned the unit promptly but did not receive a replacement for a number of days.
Got notified by DISH that their service department found liquid traces in the unit and that we would be billed $199.00.
We never put anything on the receiver with liquid in it of any kind. I called them to dispute this claim and was told repeatedly that since the technicians found traces of liquid in the receiver that we would have to pay for it.
I disputed this up to the executive level and got no help at all. I suggested that they trace the unit and see where it came from before we got it, to which they refused to do.
This company is disgusting. Do not patronize them.
