I found CameraPros online, read all of their Customer Entries, and was quite impressed with the price, warranty, and reviews. Boy do I feel naive.
There was a "Save 25$ if you order over the phone" link. So I called. "Jordan" proceeded to get my credit card information, and THEN tell me that there is a "Retail" Nikon D200 w/Advanced Package and there is a "Replacement" package.
It was at that point that he kept putting me on hold, then coming back on the line stating "this is what I can do for you." He started offering packages with less than a third of the equipment that was listed on the site and for at least 700$ more. I was a bit confused and asked him to explain a little bit more as to why I would not be getting what was listed on the site and at that point he said "that list is what some people buy." "Look mam do you want me to cancel your order?" I paused and then he hung up on me.
This place is a joke, a scam, and I don't even want to think about how many people they have ripped off. The website is a complete lie. The prices are a lie. The people are insanely rude. I pray that my bank account balance doesn't go down tomorrow.
CameraPros.com should be shut down.
