Do Not get this fraudulent Insurance!!!
I paid for the insurance for 3 years, included in my wireless bill. Then the LCD display malfuntioned so, I took it to my carrier, MetroPCS. Sorry, warranty expired 2 years ago.
I had two choices: get a new phone and get a $30 discount or file a claim with Asurion and get a replacement in 24-48 hours. (At the time I purchased the phone in the deductible was $50).
Filed my online claim, then followed up with a phone call. The CSR was rude, rejected my claim. Asked for a Mgr. Jason told me I had to download a "Loss Claim, " have it notorized, pay the new $85 deductible, wait for the Verification Dept's decision, then pay COD for the replacement. I traded it for a new phone @ the $30 discount. Filing a complaint with the CA Insurance Commissioner. Their license numbers listed on website. Motto: "Our Passion is Your Peace of Mind?"
