Do not buy a nurit 8000 or 8000gprs they have coverage problems
especially in the state of California. I bought my nurit 8000 gprs over a year ago and have had nothing but trouble with it
ever since.
It has had several different problems that have been remedied, but the main problem of "locking up in the middle
of the day and getting an error report has not been solved. After finally sending it back to Nurit-Lipman for testing they said there is absolutely nothing wrong with it and that they have not had any problems with these units. But, after pressing them a little harder they admitted that possibly there is a problem in california with service in the middle of the day because they work off cellular towers and whenn the towers get busy in the middle of the day they bump the data off the network
I am cuurently using a Nurit 3010 mobitex unit that has operated
flawlessly for four months, Nurit is unwilling to refund the $700
that I paid for the Nurit 8000.in closing do not buy an 8000
or 8000 gprs THEY DO NOT WORK IN THE MOST POPULATED REGION IN THE WESTERN UNITED STATES LOS ANGELES< SAN DIEGO< ORANGE COUNTY
Stay Away!!! They are a rip off
