Not honoring extended warranty and avoiding customer contact Ripoff

Recently my big screen tv went out and i called the conns service center because i purchased an extended warranty. After a week a service man showed up. After looking inside the tv he said the computer inside was telling him that it was a panel board on the left side, but he saw evidence of a rodent and if it was the more expensive computer that was out it would not be covered under the warranty. Because it was too expensive.

He said he would order the part and it would take 3-5 days to recieve it. He showed back up 8 days later, tried the new part along with another and said those wernt the problem, that it was the computer and that it would not be covered.

Later that day his supervisor called and offered a discount from $600 to $400 to fix it.

My wife had dealt with these people up until then. I called the supervisor that day to explain to him that there were no rodents in my home. There was no evidence of rodents anywhere but in the tv. I had set traps and caught nothing. I left two messages for him and he didnt return my call.

After acouple of days i e-mailed the coustomer service dept and got no response. I e-mailed twice more before i got a response. After explaining the situation the the rep he said he would call me back. He did not. I called him 6 times over a one week peroid each time he said he need to talk to someone or get info and he would call me back. He called me back once only to tell me he was going to call me back. I then called a area manager and left a message for him to call me back. He did not.

I have spent over $10,000 with these people over the last couple of years and referred several coustomers. It is really frustrating to be treated like this.

I dont think a rodent caused this damage, and i dont think the tech knows what the problems is. Rodent droppings in the tv does not mean that a rodent has damaged the set. These could have been in there when i bought it.
