I had received the true ceramic pro for christmas 2004 and everything was going great. Well a few weeks after i got it i had put it down and some of the side started to melt! So i picked it up and kept goin with my hair. Well when i was done i turnd it off and set it aside to cool off. When i came back 20 minutes later, the side it had started to melt on, the ceramic plate just came off!!! So i called the company and they said to send it back and they would send me a new one. I sent it back regular mail. I figured ive never had anythign lost in the mail ya know. So they gave me some address i reno, but it had come from somewhere in los angeles when i received it.
2 weeks go by and i dont hear from them. So i call to make sure theyve received my package. They tell me no. I call the next week. Still no. A month goes by that ive sent it and they still havent received it. I tried for 6 months!!! And they apparently still hadnt recieved it. So i figured if they hadnt gotten it, atleast the package wouldve come back to me since i always make it a point to have my address correct on there in case for whtever reason it needs to come back. So yeah my package still a year later, is still not there. And do you want to know what they woudl tell me when i would call "well we would need to see a receipt that you really sent it. That or a tracking number otherwise we cant help you" and one girl said "well without any kind of tracking number or receipt how are we gonna know that you realy did truly send it back. We show you bought one but you cant give us any proof that you sent it back so we cant help you." another time one of the girls was like "oh well i see on here that you've been calling alot about this issue cause we track them" well then maybe that should have been an indication that i wasnt lying!!! So yeah. Im out $140 for nothing!!! Dont buy a true ceramic ion unless you plan to guard it with your life and hope nothing ever goes wrong with it cause if something does your pretty much screwed!
