Ripoff unscrupulative pratices for install shorted out several parts on my car that run the conv. Top costing well over $3000.00 not including rental cars and roadside

This past september i took my car for a complete hi fi stereo install. The installer and i created a hi fi system which took about 4 hours finally totalling $2400.00.

A couple days later i then dropped off my car.
The install was to take approx. 4 days however the next day i recieved a call from the salesman and was told that the installer that was to put my stereo in was quiting and that they would have to switch installers... Already a problem had occured when i was told that the install would now take longer than scheduled now costing me more money for a rental car... Already a unsatisfied feeling.

6 days later my car was now finished and was brought to my place of employment.

The salesman and the installer ken chlebowski briefly explained the system.

Now 45 minutes later still at work while i exaimined the system went to open the convrtible top on my 350z when the soft portion of the top binded with the tonneuo cover ultimately stopping all together.

I then immediatley called the salesman and he contacted the installer and with blatent disregaurd were not able to assist me as i called roadside service and was also unable to tow the car because of the liability of the fiberglass portion of the conv. Cover would probably be ruined further.

Several hours later, forced to drive the car 35miles per hour 25miles away to my surroundindg neiborhood where the car was then taken to the dealer where still today 4 weeks later 11/10 it continues to be fixed part after part after part.

Two days later when the dealer opened i contacted ultimate electronics talked to the manger daniel and was told that if they were to be found at fault that they would pay for damages and at any given time that if damages were found that they would send someone out to examine the problem.

In the beginning they had also sent out thier installer ken who therefore removed the amplifiers from the trunk space so the technician at the dealer could better examine the parts directly under the amps.
Initially i believed that without a doubt that the ultimate electronics would pay for damages.

Unfortunatley the parts that were not working were gonna have to be ordered from the factory and would take 3 weeks.

Keeping in touch with daniel at ultimate electronics as time progressed.

One week later after the stereo installer had already removed the amplifiers the auto tech still had not found the contributing problem.

Finally 3 weeks later after numerous parts were replaced costing about $2500.00 finding that yet another part was shorted out and would have to be replaced and it would also have to come from the factory and would cost about $600.00.

Now at this point having to call the stereo store numerous times to contact daniel the store manger finally on 11/10 speaking with him and explaining the damage in detail asking if he was gonna send out a installer like he said he would so he could examine the damage in person only to find out that after being told by the dealer advisor and myself in seperate phone calls that now so he has determined himself only by our phone calls no examination to my dissapointment that for he and the installer were not going to take blame and were also not going to further talk to anyone about the situation any further and gave me the cooperate number at ultimate electronics and hung up.

I had then determined that i was not going to ever go back to that store but unfortunatley had to return today to retrieve my amplifiers that they had had in their store because they had removed them in the begining.
When i went to the store i asked for the installer ken chebowski and was told that he was not aloud to speak with me and that someone else would retrieve my amplifiers for me.

Once again getting a bad feeling now not having any further customer support for future problems or continued adjustments for the remainder of ther life of my system also now not having anymore customewr support to again re-install the amplifiers back into the car.
Once again it will have more furure costs to re-install the amplifiers through another company hampering thre problem even further... As of today 11/10 cost for the stereo which i have only briefly listened to, costing $2500.00, car rentals costing over $600.00 dollars, roadside assistance $100.00 parts and labor $3000.00 and maybe more still unknown.

I have even went out and purchased another car because of this.

Extremely unsatisfied and very mad total damages to date $6200.00 and still climbing. Not to further mention time loss and attorney fees??? Dont ever shop or contribute to any ultimate electronics store or any other sister cooperation or company. Unless you want to get ripped off!!! No wonder ultimate electronics filed bankruptcy because they dont take care of their customers and think they are too big to care.
