I received a letter in the mail from "Peach Direct". They offered a credit card to buy merchandise from their online catalog. My husband and I thought it sounded like a great idea, so we applied. We got approved and decided to buy a camcorder, and a digital camera. We were so excited, so we decided to go onto the manufactorers website and check out the products we had just ordered from peach direct.
To our suprise, we ended up paying approx. $150.00 more, for each of the items, then they were actually worth. Well, no big deal we thought, because without the company we wouldnt have gotten them at all. They informed us that it would take approx. 2-3 weeks for delivery. After about 3 weeks, we started wondering, so we gave them a call. Our items hadn't even shipped yet. We were pretty mad, and decided to cancel our order.
When I contacted customer service they apologized for the inconvenience, and gave us $50.00 off our order, if we kept it. So we did. About a week later, the camcorder finally arrived, we were very excited! But, where was the camera? So we called the company, and they said it would take an additional 3-4 weeks for the camera, so we decided to cancel just the camera. They informed me that we could not do that, and they never even gave us the $50.00 off that we were promised.
My cousin also ordered from this company, a computer. After 3 months of being promised delivery, it never came! They reported to her credit report saying she was in default on paying the balance for a computer she never received! I would NOT recommend ordering from this company unless you want to be RIPPED OFF!
