Do NOT do any business with a company called Venture VII Holdings, LLC out of Raleigh, NC. They also go by V7H Trade Corporation, and The Holding Companies. The guy in charge of the operation is named Kenechukwu Ibeanu. His cell phone number is 919-414-5988. It's a number that was listed on their add but I know it's his cell phone because whenever I try to call 4 or 5 times in a row he turns it off. They claim to sell mobile phones and computer accessories but they don't deliver anything.
I sent them a bank check for $1032 for three PalmOne Treo 650 mobile phones and never even got a kiss. I have to give it up to them, they're scam is good. I even pulled a business report on them from Dunn & Bradstreet. I checked the BBB and there was no report on them at all (there should be soon). I thought I had done my homework on these guys and they still got me.
How they got me was when I was looking for cell phone distributors on Alibaba.com (they are now removed from that site). I emailed them asking for a price list. I tried to call but only got a machine. The next day I got a call back from them and the guy told me that they just couldn't handle the volume of calls they receive and was very appologetic.
I did some research on them and placed an order. The slick part of there scam comes when they send you a non circumvention/non disclosure agreement to fill out and sign. They then send you a very professional looking invoice. After I got the invoice I sent the money. After that they wouldn't return phone calls or emails.
And I called and emailed them a lot, and I mean a lot. I still do just to try to annoy them. I'll fill up the guy's voice mail on his cell phone if I just don't have anything better to do. I've filed a complaint with the BBB but I know I'll never get my money back. I just hope I can keep some others from getting ripped off by these dirtbags.
