Rebate Ripoff check late expired and will not reissue

On February 12 I received a rebate check from Plextor, which was issued on November 5. It has a void after date of February 3. The following is taken from the Plextor web page (Rebate FAQ's):

"Can Plextor reissue a new rebate check since the void date has expired on the one I received?

Unfortunately, we will not be able to reissue another check since there are 90 days from the issue date to cash the check."

Apparently sending expired rebate checks is SOP for this company.
