I had heard so many good things about metro pcs through their commercials only to find out they tell lies! True they do offer inexpensive phones but you know how the saying goes... You get what you pay for! I think the phones just hold up for the 30 days so you can't get a free replacement one after that you have to pay for a replacement one. I also find it to be a laughable coincidence that me and two of my friends got phones through them and we all had the same problems with our phones even though all three were different ones. Took my phone in to the nearest metro pcs store on Florida Ave in Hemet, Ca., they didn't look at it to see if it was defective, said they don't have defective phones but just pay the $15 for a replacement phone which they want and count on people doing! Also i've had to call them at least 4-5 times in 2 1/2 months because of my phone not connecting to the internet. Everyday i get an EV or 1X signal and it will not connect to the internet. People have problems hearing me on the phone, the screen freezes up and i can be in the middle of doing something important on the phone and it will just shut down or restart itself for NO reason! This is very frustrating and obviously a lie on their part because this is a defective phone, this is not the normal thing for a phone to do. When you call them all they say is sorry for your issues and claim they are trying to fix it for you. The last representative called herself trying to help by refreshing it there and cleared out all my downloads, contacts, saved texts and pictures that hadn't yet been saved to my sd card, was only able to get the contacts back! She did not say before she started this process that i would lose everything and the problem with the phone should be fixed in 3-4 days... Ridiculous! Here i am still having the same problems and hearing the same ole story again, horrible customer service there! They want my full payment and they want it on time but i don't get the full use of my phone everyday and there should be some type of discount or compensation for this because it happens too often! In the first 30 days they asked in a survey how likely i would be to refer family or friends to metro pcs and i said highly likely that has now changed to not at all. I love my family and friends too much to have them go through what i have had to go through in this short period of time that i've been with them. Obviously satisfied and happy customers is NOT their first priority and that's not a good way to keep customers, bring in new ones by referrals, run a business and keep it running. Metro PCS needs to think about this if they care at all about their customers.
